Bri Altier, Coordinator for the Office of International Education (OIE), joined the University of South Alabama in the spring of 2014. “I am thrilled to be here at USA and help students explore other countries and cultures,” she said.
She is originally from DeLand, Fla., and spent six years in New Orleans, La., where she received a bachelor of arts and master of liberal arts degrees at Tulane University.
Bri has traveled to 13 countries on 5 continents, including a year of living abroad in South Korea (한국 을 사랑헤요). While living overseas, she taught English to elementary school students and wrote articles for several Korean English publications. In her spare time she loves to read, write, and play with her dog, Cheese.
“Whether you are a seasoned traveler or thinking about going abroad for the first time, we can help you find a program that will meet your needs and change your life,” Bri said. “I am eager to meet you when you are ready to start thinking about studying abroad – it’s never too early. Go Jags!”
